The Job was to take up LVP to which we would then install the hardwood within a closet and foyer.

The Home owner wanted to remodel their foyer from their old luxury vinyl product with our lines of Hand-scrapped Hardwood. The Customer showed interest in Southern Wholesale Flooring Co.’s line “Sante-Fe - Toffee.”

The Product is a Hand scrapped Acacia that holds a board width of 4-3/4”, Various lengths, and about half of an inch thickness. The Darker finish of the toffee gave the board a depth that fit the overall aesthetic of the room, the door, and the surrounding rooms.
This wood holds a good shine to it when light hits, and depending on the lighting particular hues within the wood will vary, all pictures seen below will desplay this statement.

Once the Homeowner had made their choice we then went out to get the estimate and figure out how much product we had to order. Once shipped, we then set an applicable date with the homeowner we sent our crew of installers out to take up their old flooring and put in the new flooring.

Once we had Pulled the floor we installed the hardwood underlayment. Once the underlayment was down our installers began the process of fitting and nailing down the hardwood.

The Instillation of the wood took a days time, we then sent out another installer to tuck the carpet to make the transition from foyer to each room look good, which only took a couple hours.

Once Finished the Hardwood Had a very unique look, this can be attributed to the hand scrapped finish, as well as the board variation that the product gave. Being it is natural hardwood, it is very safe to assume the variation from board to board. However the variety in this case unified the area. The Hand-scrapped boards coupled with the beautiful variations in this wood provided the character to make this foyer spectacular.
